Mathura Vrindavan with Taj Mahal Tour
Day 1: Delhi Arrival and Drive to Agra
Morning Delhi Arrival and then drive to Agra on reaching agra check in to your Hotel (approximately 4 hrs journey),
Agra was once the majestic capital of the Mughals and has carved a niche for herself as one of the most sought after destinations in the world. Better known as the city of the Taj Mahal, Agra, is the city of magical splendours; a city having the most magnificent monuments in India, standing testimony to its glorious past. Agra remained the seat of almost four Mughal emperors. While Babur settled here, Humayun and Akbar guarded it and Jehangir and Shahajehan beautified it.
After some fresh n up we will visit the most photographed building of the world, an ode to true love, the Taj Mahal. The grandeur called the Taj is perhaps the most photographed, filmed, described and sketched building of the world. Taj Mahal is where fantasy coincides with reality in perfect harmony. An inspiration for innumerous artists over the centuries, the Taj is an ode to love, which no monument in the world can match. The beauty of the Taj is in its simplicity. It is rare that a person would not fall in love with the pure and simple beauty in white. Emperor Shahajehan had built many an architectural marvels in his career, but Taj Mahal is the zenith. Taj never looks the same. The golden pink Taj at dawn turns into dazzling white at noon. Giving way to the sultry orange at sunset is the milky blue at night. Viewing the Taj on Full moon nights is a blissful experience. Later visit the Red fort of Agra. From the sight of it the magnificent structure in Red Sand Stone looks strong and invincible. The fort is built with Red Sand stone and is supposed to be the predecessor of the Red Fort of Delhi. Many buildings inside the fort were built by Shahajehan, unique among which is the stunning pearl mosque. Overnight's stay at Agra Hotel.

Day 2: Agra – Vrindavan - Mathura 180Kms
Morning early after breakfast we will drive to Vrindavan - where Lord Krishna spent his childhood days ,played the flute sporting with the Gopis and where Radhika pined for her lover. Visit the Govind Dev Temple – built in 1590 and a testimony to thearchitectural splendour of medieval India. Proceed to Rangaji Temple –Vrindavan’s longest temple constructed in 1851 with a 50 feet tall ‘ Dhwaja Stambha ’ believed to be gold – plated. Continue to Madan Mohan Temple situated near Kali Ghat , Prem Temple and the Bankey Bihari Temple – one of the oldest temples built in 1921 and ISCKON TEMPLE . Later Drive to Mathura and Overnight stay at Hotel in Mathura.
Day 3: Mathura / Goverdhan/ NandGaon / Barsana
Morning visit to Mathura – city associated with the most revered of Hindu Gods – Lord Krishna , which is sacred being the birth place of Lord Krishna. Dip in Holy River Yamuna and visit to Oldest Temple Dwarkadeesh .The surroundings ‘ Braj Bhoomi ’ is where Lord Krishna is supposed to have grown up. Morning Visit to Krishna Janam Bhoomi
Nand Gaon – the house of Lord Krishna’s foster father Nand , in whose memory stands the 19th century temple. A little beyond is Pan Sarovar – one of the four most celebrated lakes in Braj. Continue to Barsana – the birth place of Radha – with temples in reverence of Ladliji ( Radha ) . Also visit the water tank ‘ Prem Sarovar ’ , the first meeting place of Radha – Krishna.
Continue to Goverdhan – where Lord Krishna held aloft ‘Giriraj’ , the sandstone hill on his finger for seven days and nights to protect the people of Braj from the wrath of rain and thunder sent by Indra. Return to Mathura. Overnight stay at Hotel in Mathura.
GOVERDHAN : 22 KM , FROM GOVERDHAN - BARSANA IS 20 KM , FROM BARSANA - NANDGAON IS 15 KM
Day 4: Mathura – Gokul - Delhi
After Early Breakfast and check out and Drive to Gokul where Nand Gopal was sheltered in Yashoda Maiya’s home in secrecy to escape the wrath of tyrant Kansha. Also visit Gokul Nath Ji Temple. Proceed to Mahavan – believed to have cradled Lord Krishna. Visit ‘Assi Khambha’ the temple dedicated to Mathura Nath Ji. Then drive further to Delhi on arrival check in to Hotel in Delhi.
Day 5: Delhi Sightseeing and Stay
Morning after breakfast we will go for sightseeing Red Fort (majestic red stone architecture), Jama Masjid, drive through markets of Chandi Chowk, Later visit Raj Ghat then, visit Humayun's Tomb (Humayun's tomb is believed to have been designed in 1565 AD by the widow of Mughal emperor Himayun. It'splan, based on the description of Islamic paradise gardens, is known to have inspired the Taj Mahal and many later Mughal tombs. This type of garden is known as a charbagh and is based on a grid) and Akshardham Temple, Evening Back to Hotel in Delhi For Over Night Stay.
Day 6: Delhi Sightseeing and Airport / Station Drop
Morning after breakfast we will go for sightseeing of New Delhi covering India Gate and Drive Through President House, Lotus Temple and then Qutab Minar (73 meters high which tapers from a 15 m diameter base to just 2.5 m at the top. The walls consistintricately carved quotations from Koran and is one of the most perfect towers of the Persian world), later drop at Delhi Airport for onward Journey Flight.
